The riding position of the Monster 696 Plus ensures exceptional control in every situation with a low seat, comfortable tank shape and a commanding handlebar position. Manoeuvrability is further enhanced with increased steering lock while super-light controls inspire confidence. Fully digital instrumentation delivers clear and extensive information from the on-board computer while passenger comfort is ensured with a comfortable pillion position and two under-seat moulded grab-handles. The Monster 696 Plus weighs in at just 161kg (355lb), making it the lightest and most agile bike of its class.

Throughout its long story, the Monster legend has attracted and encouraged endless personalisation.
The Monster 696+ has been accessorised in-house by Ducati and features some additional sophisticated and functional details. The colour-matched rear seat cover, which can be easily removed for a passenger, accentuates the clean and sporty lines of the 696 while a neat micro-bikini fairing further enhances the look of the front end.
