Riders Motorcycles have been involved in motorcycle racing with great depth and breadth for over 20 years in Endurance Racing, World Supersport and feeder classes building up to the British Superbike Championship. We have put racers on top of podiums and held pole positions in BSB and Road Racing with Ducati and BMW. Riders held the World Record for the fastest speed through a speed trap of 208 mph at the North West 200 on a Ducati 1198RS. So we know what is required to truly extract the maximum from a motorcycle engine. None of this would have been possible without expert knowledge, a sophisticated Dynojet Dynometer and computer software to analyse, diagnose and tune performance engines.
You do not need to be a professional motorcycle racer or track day enthusiast to notice the improvements!
The level of Dynojet tuning and performance depends on your requirements and budget. Services include*:
A Custom Tune will require a programmable ECU interface such as a Power Commander. In addition performance components need to be fitted over a standard factory motorcycle. These might include:
Exhaust Systems: Akrapovic, Arrow, Remus, Rush, Termognoni, Vance and Hines.
Air Cleaner: K&N, Screaming Eagle, Vance & Hines, Arlen Ness, Kuryakyn, Performance Machine
Quick Shifters: Ducati, BMW, HM
Engine Upgrades: Screaming Eagle Big Bore, Cams, Ducati Corse engine internals, BMW race components.
*DynoJet Dynometer runs require the technician to run the engine at maximum revs. You cannot properly tune an engine unless it is stress tested 100%. Under such circumstances engine failure can occur due to underlying pre-existing engine conditions that Riders Motorcycles cannot be held responsible for. ** The rear tyre will deliver maximum engine power to an abrasive roller under conditions that simulate maximum speed. During this process tyre life will be reduced, in some situations a tyre may fail if its condition is not suitable and we may advise against such a test.
Riders of Bridgwater Limited T/A Riders Motorcycles is an Appointed Representative of Automotive Compliance Ltd who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No. 497010). Automotive Compliance Ltd’s permissions as a Principal Firm allow Riders of Bridgwater Limited T/A Riders Motorcycles to act as a credit broker, not a lender, for the introduction to a limited number of lenders, and to act as an agent on behalf of the insurer for insurance distribution activities only.
We are a credit broker and not a lender. We can introduce you to a lender on our panel, which includes lenders of vehicle manufacturers. We have commercial arrangements with lenders and credit brokers which are likely to influence who we introduce you to. We are not an independent financial adviser and don’t give you any advice or recommendations. It is your choice whether you enter into any finance agreement.
Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked to the franchise offering you the vehicle. They will usually offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions (but we do not guarantee they do). If they are unable to offer finance, we then seek to introduce you to someone else on our panel. We will usually receive a commission for your introduction. This will be either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you choose.
Lenders of vehicle manufacturers may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will tell you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receiving this commission. The exact amount of commission will be confirmed before you sign your finance agreement.
All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18s or over. Guarantees may be required.
